01

Who we are and what this policy covers

Check6ix Garage & Racing (“Check6ix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an Atlanta, Georgia performance garage and racing team. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and during direct follow-up about a website request.

This policy does not govern another company’s website, track, payment service, social network, or other third-party service. Their own privacy terms apply when you leave our site or use their service.

02

Information you provide

The information we receive depends on what you ask us to do. It may include:

  • Contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and preferred contact method.
  • Vehicle and project details, including year, make, model, modifications, goals, requested work, budget range, experience, timing, pickup or destination details, and notes.
  • Consultation details, such as your selected time, project goal, and whether you want appointment reminders.
  • Merchandise request details, including requested products, sizes, quantities, pickup information, and related messages.
  • Newsletter information, including your email address, opt-in status, and consent date.
  • Communications and transaction records created when the crew follows up, confirms work, arranges pickup, or records payment outside the website.

Please do not send highly sensitive information through free-text fields. This website does not collect payment-card numbers or take online payment.

03

Site, device, and storage information

When you use the site, our hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site, including Cloudflare Turnstile on public forms.

The site uses a small amount of browser storage for features you request:

  • A strictly necessary, short-lived receipt-session cookie lets the same browser view a request status for up to 30 minutes. The cookie is HttpOnly and is not used for advertising.
  • Local storage can remember products in your gear bag. It contains product choices, sizes, and quantities, not your contact details, and remains until the bag is submitted, removed, or browser storage is cleared.
  • Session storage remembers that the opening animation has played and supports page transitions. It normally ends when the browser session ends.

Check6ix does not currently place third-party advertising pixels on this site or use website activity for cross-site behavioral advertising. Because there is no universally accepted Do Not Track standard, the site does not respond differently to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Your browser settings can clear or block storage, although doing so may stop some features from working.

04

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Review and respond to build, maintenance, track-support, transport, consultation, and merchandise requests.
  • Prepare estimates, confirm availability, schedule work, arrange pickup, maintain service and transaction records, and provide customer support.
  • Send appointment or request-related messages using the contact method you selected.
  • Send Check6ix news only when you separately join the email list.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and duplicate requests; and maintain request-status access.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, safety, insurance, and dispute-resolution obligations.

We do not use a newsletter opt-in as permission for unrelated appointment or transaction messages, and we do not make marketing consent a condition of requesting service.

05

When information may be disclosed

We disclose personal information only when reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to:

  • Hosting, database, security, communications, and other vendors that help us operate the site or serve customers. Cloudflare currently provides website hosting and form-security services.
  • Parts suppliers, transport providers, tracks, event organizers, or other service partners when needed to evaluate or fulfill a request and after the arrangement is confirmed as appropriate.
  • Accountants, insurers, lawyers, and other professional advisers.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect safety or rights, to investigate misuse, or to respond to legal process.
  • A buyer, successor, or adviser in a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not collect or disclose payment-card details through this website. Information sent to an external social platform or other linked service is handled by that service.

06

Communications and your choices

Request and service messages are operational communications. We may email, call, or text to respond, confirm details, discuss an estimate, or manage an appointment. If you ask for appointment reminders, message frequency varies and carrier message or data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text or contact us to revoke text-message consent; choosing not to receive texts does not prevent you from requesting service.

News and promotional email requires the separate, unchecked newsletter opt-in. You may unsubscribe through the instructions in a message or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages about an active request or transaction.

07

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and for legitimate business, warranty, safety, tax, accounting, insurance, fraud-prevention, and legal needs. Retention depends on the type of request, whether work or a transaction follows, and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it. Backup, security, and legal-hold copies may remain for a limited period. Browser storage remains under your control as described above.

08

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical measures designed for the nature of the information we handle. These include access controls around the Crew Desk, encrypted transport on the hosted site, short-lived request-status access, anti-abuse controls, and limited collection.

No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe information sent to Check6ix has been misused or exposed.

09

Privacy requests

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or to stop optional communications. Send the request using the contact details below and describe what you need. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information that is required for an active transaction, safety record, legal obligation, fraud prevention, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

If applicable law gives you additional privacy rights, we will evaluate a verified request under that law. We will not discriminate against you for making a good-faith privacy request.

10

Children

The site and Check6ix services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

11

Third-party links and social media

The site links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, tracks, and other third-party destinations. Following a link can allow that service to collect information under its own policies. A link does not mean Check6ix controls that service’s privacy, security, availability, or accessibility practices.

12

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows when the published policy was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted when appropriate.

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to check6.garage@gmail.com or made by calling 404.729.2804. Please do not include sensitive information in an initial email.
